Penetrators

Allows cable assemblies to penetrate a bulkhead or housing without the use of connectors.
Available with either a 316 stainless steel or 6061-T6 hard anodized aluminum threaded body.
Metal body is waterblocked with glass reinforced epoxy insert.
Molded neoprene assemblies supplied on 24" length of #18 AWG SO cable (9 and 20 contact supplied on 24" length of #20 AWG cable, 26 contact requires custom cable). Custom lengths and cable types available on request. This may require the use of a polyurethane overmold.
Straight or right-angled overmold available.
Penetrators are supplied with 12" of #18 AWG type E inboard leads. (9, 20 and 26 contact supplied with #20 AWG)
Other end of penetrator assembly can be terminated to Impulse connector if required.

All mounting surfaces require a 32 finish
Lubricate O-rings with Dow Corning #111 Valve Lubricant or equivalent.
Keep O-ring grooves clean and avoid cuts and nicks in the O-ring. Replace O-rings when re-mounting connectors.
Avoid contact with solvents.
Elastomers can be seriously degraded if exposed to direct sunlight or high ozone levels for extended periods of time.
